Friday is Valentines Day here in the USA or singles awareness day depending how you look at it. We have a fairly light astrological day with only one major movement, Mercury entering Pisces at 7:06AM. Any time a planet changes signs, it is a big deal. This is noteworthy because Neptune, Saturn, The North Node, and the Vertex are all occupying Pisces right now. The strong emphasis on the water signs brings us into contact with deep feelings. We also have a strong presence in air signs. This opens a window to examine emotions and psychological issues with greater distance and objectivity. While it likely isn’t going to be easy, it is an excellent time for self-exploration.
The self-exploration is even more supported with the moon today in the sign of Virgo and Full phase. Virgo is the sign of fixing everything and lives mostly in the intellectual realm. While this sign is usually reliable and enjoys being of service to others, at the lower end, it can be nervous, fussy and anxious. Since we have the full phase of the moon, we can expect clarity and revelation in an outward way surrounding health and practicality. With the Sun in Aquarius, we have another blend of air and water supporting this examination of emotional responses and psychological pitfalls.
